The British Columbia Building Envelope Council[1] (BCBEC) and BC Housing[2] is organizing a half-day workshop on innovation and building design considerations for single and multi-unit buildings. It will take place on Tuesday, February 26, at the Italian Cultural Centre[3] from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The workshop will explore concepts and design rules of thumb to achieve higher standards for livability, high-performance sustainability with carbon neutrality, and durability of assemblies. Industry leaders will discuss a variety of topics, including wall, roof, and attic performance; prefab assemblies; taller mass timber buildings; lighting; and thermal comfort.
This workshop is open to CSC members.
