Wood and sustainable design pioneer wins RAIC journalism award

Jim Taggart, an award-winning author and contributor of Construction Canada, has received Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) Architectural Journalism and Media Award for his advocacy and commitment toward sustainable architecture.

Taggart, an architectural journalist, co-authored Wood Buildings: Design, Construction and Performance (2020) alongside Michael Green. He has written more than 20 books, 50 building case studies, and 100 articles.

The RAIC Annual Awards winners include architectural practices, projects, and initiatives that illustrate the current architectural environment of Canada.
