On November 15th, the Winnipeg Chapter[1] will organize a presentation on “Impairment (Cannabis) and Workplace Safety.” Held at the Viscount Gort Hotel in Winnipeg, the lunch meeting will start at 11:30 a.m.

Michael Pogorzelec, prevention consultant at SAFE Work Manitoba[2], will talk about the impact impairment can have on workplace safety. This presentation will also provide information on how to respond to impairment in the workplace in light of the recent legalization of recreational cannabis. It will be useful to employers, managers, supervisors, and safety committee members who want to acquire more knowledge on addressing workplace impairment.
