On Thursday, March 26, CSC’s Hamilton/Niagara Chapter[1] is hosting a technical luncheon that delves into the creative advantages and limitations of natural stone.
Unilock Ltd.’s Craig Mathews will discuss basic geology, along with ways to identify poor-quality materials from better ones. His presentation explores specifications and natural stone uses, dispelling myths and explaining why one product might be chosen over another.
The talk, along with lunch, takes place at the Arnie, located on the Fennell Campus of Mohawk College in Hamilton. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation ending by 2 p.m. Admission is $25 per person, payable at the door. (ATM onsite or cheques payable to CSC Hamilton/Niagara Chapter.)
The event qualifies for Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) points.
