Located in Toronto’s Kensington Market neighbourhood, the four-storey 35 Bellevue Avenue project is designed for lasting impact, providing 78 affordable and supportive homes.
The building features a vibrant red metal cladding that reflects the character of Kensington Market and a mass timber structure.
Each unit will be a self-contained private apartment with a bathroom and kitchen.
Constructed with cross-laminated timber (CLT), the building achieves low embodied carbon intensity and incorporates a green roof with solar panels.
The building integrates support services, including meal programs, health care, education, and employment resources, ensuring residents have the tools they need for long-term housing stability. With rents capped at no more than 30 per cent of a resident’s earnings, the development prioritizes accessibility and dignity.
