by | September 1, 2015 12:09 pm

On September 15, CSC’s Toronto Chapter is hosting a dinner meeting that includes a talk by PPG Canada’s Chuck Craig on low-emissivity glass from performance and cost analysis perspectives.

The discussion will explore solar energy and glazing performance, along with the low-e coating’s manufacturing process and how to model the eventual energy impacts. The event will be held at the Toronto Skating, Curling, and Cricket Club. It kicks off at 5:15 p.m. with cocktails, leading into the annual chapter meeting, dinner, and the final presentation. Admission is $50 for members and $55 for non-members. It goes up to $60 at the door, so registration[1] is recommended.

In other Toronto news, the chapter is offering the Principles of Construction Documentation (PCD) course[2] as of September 14, led by Ted Katsoris, CCCA. The Specification Writing 1 course[3] begins September 16, taught by Tim Lee, RSW.
