
Architecture Canada/Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) has named Toronto-based Montgomery Sisam Architects as the recipient of its Architectural Firm Award. The company was cited for its quality of architecture, service to clients, innovations in practice, contributions to architectural education, professional institutions, and associations, and public recognition.
The RAIC jury said this award “recognized the service excellence that this Toronto firm has demonstrated, for over 30 years, in every sphere of its practice.”
Founded in 1978, Montgomery Sisam Architects is a mid-sized architectural practice providing clients with master planning, architecture, and interior and urban design. Their projects include:
• healthcare;
• infrastructure;
• educational;
• recreational; and
• residential.
The majority of staff are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals (APs), reflecting the practice’s commitment to sustainable design.
Montgomery Sisam will be presented with its medal during the Architecture Canada/RAIC Presidents’ Dinner and Awards Gala later next month.
