Montreal-based engineering firm, Bouthillette Parizeau (BPA), and Toronto’s The Mitchell Partnership (TMP) revealed they will be entering into a strategic partnership to help both firms form a stronger presence in their relevant markets.
This collaboration combines TMP’s 60-year legacy in mechanical engineering with BPA’s expertise in mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, and energy modelling, solidifying BPA as a leading building engineering firm in Canada.
Patrick St–Onge, BPA’s executive vice-president, states the acquisition aligns with their objective of being the national authority in building engineering and contributing to a sustainable future. The collaboration strengthens BPA’s presence in commercial, mixed use, and office building sectors while introducing its health care expertise to Toronto.
Dominic Latour, BPA’s CEO, emphasizes the partnership empowers them to undertake additional major projects, positioning BPA as Canada’s leader in building engineering.
Tony Dingman, TMP Partner, notes the unified firm enhances capacity for larger-scale projects, critical sector opportunities, and overall responsiveness to clients across multiple cities.
Moreover, all TMP leaders will continue their key roles, ensuring seamless integration and sustained leadership excellence. All employees will remain with BPA, and the transaction details of this partnership are confidential.
