The city of Calgary has appointed SNC-Lavalin, a Canadian engineering, procurement, and construction services firm with a global presence, as delivery partner for its Green Line LRT.

Montreal-based engineering firm, SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., will continue providing floodplain mapping for North Carolina, after receiving a new US$30 million contract to help the state in resisting and handling water hazards.

The president and CEO of Metrolinx, the Ontario Crown corporation overseeing the construction of Eglinton Crosstown project, is holding Crosslinx Transit Solutions, a construction consortium assigned to the project, including ACS-Dragados, Aecon, EllisDon, and SNC-Lavalin, responsible for not delivering the LRT by this fall.
