Québec firm takes top tech honours at ASHRAE awards

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) distributed its annual awards during the 2018 Winter Conference in Chicago. Canada ranks second in global LEED rankings

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) announced that Canada has maintained its second-place position in the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC’s) ranking of the world’s top 10 countries for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. The list only ranks countries outside of the United States, which remains the global leader with 385.65 m2 (4151 sf) of LEED-certified space and 30,669 LEED-certified projects.
