On Wednesday, October 14, CSC Vancouver Island is holding its technical meeting luncheon, which will explore the myriad benefits of stone wool ceiling tiles.
Scott Debenham (Rockfon/Chicago Metallic Corp.) will explain how these products neither absorb moisture nor promote mould or mildew growth. Stone wool ceiling panels can also achieve higher noise reduction co-efficient (NRC) levels and offer higher resistance to fire compared with some traditional materials.
The meeting takes place at the Fireside Grill (4509 West Saanich Rd.) at 11:30 a.m., with the speaker finishing by 1:15 p.m. Admission is $30 for pre-registered CSC members and their guests, $40 for non-members, and $15 for students. Click here[1] for more information.
