On Thursday, October 15, CSC’s Hamilton/Niagara Chapter is hosting a discussion on concrete floors.

The talk is led by Geoff Kinney, the executive director of the Concrete Floor Contractors Association of Canada (CFCA) and the CSA A23.1, Concrete Materials and Methods of Concrete Construction, technical subcommittee chair for placing, finishing, and curing. A frequent[1] contributor[2] to Construction Canada[3], he will provide a specifier’s overview of that national mandatory standard.

The event, which includes lunch, takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion (828 Legion Rd.), in Burlington, Ont. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation ending by 2 p.m. Admission is $25 per person, payable at the door. (ATM onsite or cheques payable to CSC Hamilton/Niagara Chapter.)
