CSC Toronto exploring “The Evolution of Building”

The Toronto Chapter of CSC is hosting its “The Evolution of Building” one-day event on Wednesday, October 18 at St. Andrew’s Club and Conference Centre[1].
Scheduled speakers include:
- Lyle Scott, P.Eng., LEED AP (Footprint[2]), on Ontario’s supplementary standard, SB 10, Energy Efficiency Requirements;
- CSC past-president Keith Robinson, FCSC, RSW, LEED AP (DIALOG[3]), on the newest version of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program;
- Steve Street (Ontario WoodWorks)[4] on modern wood buildings; and
- Laverne Dalgleish (Building Professionals[5]) on changes to the 2020 National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (NECB).
The conference, which includes food and refreshments, runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It offers five Building Science Specialist of Ontario (BSSO) and five Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) continuing education learning hours.
