Stone wool insulation manufacturer, Roxul, has announced partnerships with two roofing product companies, expanding its North American offerings.
Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) produces commercial roofing products, and will now incorporate stone wool roof insulation into its ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membranes and warranty programs.
“It will add options for designers and building owners interested in energy efficiency and fire safety,” CCM’s Steve Schwar said.
Roxul has also teamed up with Sika Sarnafil, a thermoplastic (PVC) roofing membrane manufacturer, whose products will now incorporate stone wool insulation for thermal performance, fire resistance, and sound absorption.
“Both companies have a particularly strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainability,” said Sika Sarnafil’s Stan Graveline. “Stone wool insulation is therefore a natural fit, offering a range of sustainable benefits for our customers.”
