On Thursday, September 17, CSC’s Hamilton/Niagara Chapter is hosting a technical luncheon that delves into retrofit roofing assemblies.
The discussion examines a proprietary two-component rubber membrane that, along with sprayed polyurethane foam (SPF), serves as the basis for an economical roof. The retrofit assembly offers potential for energy savings via insulation and reflectivity. The presenters will be Joel Starkman (Tuff-Gard Roofing Products) and Steve Clarke (Premium Spray Products Canada).
The event, which includes lunch, takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion (828 Legion Rd.), in Burlington, Ont. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation ending by 2 p.m. Admission is $25 per person, payable at the door. (ATM onsite or cheques payable to CSC Hamilton/Niagara Chapter.)

In other Hamilton/Niagara news, the chapter’s annual charity golf tournament takes place on September 24.
