On Friday, June 17, CSC’s Ottawa Chapter is inviting an international ventilation expert to share her insights on efficient and active ventilation systems for residential buildings.
Kara Rosemeier, chair of the Passive House Institute New Zealand and director of the Passive House Academy New Zealand, will help you navigate the whys and hows of residential ventilation, from the significance of moisture and air contaminants in homes to why windows not the tools of choice. She will discuss topics ranging from the necessity of a force for continuous air exchange and good air-mixing to heat recovery and the ‘dark side’ of filters and ducts.
The event kicks off at 5 p.m. at Algonquin College with a product exhibit, followed by presentations and audience Q&A. Tickets are $30. For registration and more information, visit https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/efficient-active-ventilation-systems-for-residential-buildings-tickets-25394197729
