Engineers Canada[2] has announced the winners of the 2018 Engineers Canada Awards. The awards recognize engineering excellence and the recipients’ outstanding contributions to their community, profession, and to the safety and well-being of Canadians.
This year’s award-winners are:
Gold Medal Award – Levente Diosady, P.Eng.
Young Engineer Achievement Award – Max Mantha, P.Eng.
Meritorious Service Award for Professional Service – Rosa Galvez, P.Eng.
Meritorious Service Award for Community Service – Gary Schubak, P.Eng.
Medal for Distinction in Engineering Education – Hanan Anis, P.Eng.
National Award for an Engineering Project or Achievement – Iqaluit International Airport Improvement Project
Award for the Support of Women in the Engineering Profession – Jeannette Montufar, P.Eng.
Gold Medal Student Award – Vanessa Raponi
The recipients will be honoured during a ceremony to be held on May 24 in Saskatoon.
