Québec-based developer Vic&Lambert[2] is a finalist for the 2018 Domus Trophy in the “Condo over $250,000 and under $500,000” category for a project in Saint-Lambert. Issued by a Québec homebuilder association, the Association Provinciale Des Constructeurs D’habitations Du Québec Inc.[3] (APCHA), the contest pays tribute to professional builders who demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial qualities and innovation in Greater Montréal.
The Saint-Lambert building is seeking Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.
Designed to preserve the city’s charm, this contemporary building will feature expansive windows to maximize natural light. The project is within walking distance of the village of Saint-Lambert and a 10-minute drive to downtown Montréal. The eight-storey building will consist of 42 condos, nine penthouses, and 78 indoor parking spaces. Ranging from 51 to 232 m2 (550 to 2500 sft), each unit will have 2.7- to 3.5-m (9- to 11-ft) ceilings and include high-end appliances and finishes as well as central air conditioning. Condo owners will also have access to a rooftop terrace, gym, two elevators, bicycle storage areas, and charging stations for electric cars.
