Plenum barriers, speech privacy, and workplace 2.0 fit-up standards

**Figure 1**: Workplace 2.0 is a Government of Canada standard for the fit-up of government office facilities. Its requirements for enhanced privacy include using plenum barriers to ensure appropriate sound transmission class (STC) and ceiling attenuation class (CAC) ratings.
