There is still time to register for next month’s Principles of Construction Documentation (PCD) five-day workshop inĀ Edmonton.
The program, set to begin December 1, provides a better understanding of construction documentation (i.e. specifications, drawings, and schedules), products, bidding procedures, and contracts. CSC says its completion provides a solid base for future skills acquisition, job efficiency, position advancement, and pay increases.
A prerequisite for all CSC courses, successful completion of the PCD is required to achieve Certified Technical Representative (CTR), the Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA), and Certified Specifications Practitioner (CSP) designations. This particular curriculum will be taught by is Peter Semchuk, FCSC, RSW, CCCA .
Held at the Delta Edmonton Centre Suite Hotel, the course is $1199 for members and $1399 for non-members, plus tax. To register, visit csc-dcc.ca/Education/5-Day+CSC+Course+Workshop[1]. Any questions can be directed to Clafton Fiola[2] at the association’s national office.
