Online fire inspection training program launched

The International Firestop Council (IFC) has developed a free online inspection training and education program for code officials, inspectors, and other building trades professionals involved with firestopping in commercial buildings from design to installation. The IFC Recommended Training and Education for Third-Party Firestop Inspectors program educates through videos, presentations, and documents from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), International Code Council (ICC), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), ASTM, and IFC.
