Brian Trimble is director of industry development and technical services at the International Masonry Institute (IMI). He is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and Virginia with more than 25 years’ experience in the masonry industry assisting design professionals with masonry structures. He is a Fellow of ASTM International and frequently lectures on masonry subjects. Trimble has an architectural engineering degree from Penn State University.

David Sovinski is a retired masonry industry professional, formerly serving as national director of industry development at the International Masonry Institute’s (IMI). His experience includes masonry project manager, estimator, and architecture and technology teacher at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Sovinski has a degree in building construction from Purdue University.
