J.L. Richards and Associates[2] has expanded both its services and its geographic presence since its inception in 1955.
Founded in Ottawa, as a multi-disciplinary engineering firm, it has grown into a professional practice offering a wide range of services, from architecture to industrial, commercial, and institutional clients. It is an engineering, architecture, planning, and project management firm, offering services in water and wastewater treatment, mining, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
J.L. Richards has regional offices throughout Ontario in Sudbury, Kingston, North Bay, Timmins, Hawkesbury, and Guelph and is active in 27 countries. It is known for its involvement in iconic, high-profile Ottawa buildings, including the Canadian Tire Centre and the Macdonald Cartier International Airport expansion.
“Sixty years is an incredible achievement we can attribute largely to the dedication of our staff,” said CEO, Guy Cormier. “As we continue to expand our business and take on even larger ventures, we expect our accomplishments of the last 60 years to carry through for years to come.”
J.L. Richards was named one of the Best Managed Companies in 2013 for its adaptability to market changes, open and transparent management style, and support of staff initiatives.
