International roof coatings conference next month

Next month, the Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) welcomes industry members to the 2014 International Roof Coatings Conference.

Taking place July 14 to 17 in Baltimore, Maryland, this year marks the second biennial event focused on the roof coatings, building envelope, and cool roofing industries. Attendees will be able to sit in on various seminars presented by industry experts, including:

• overcoming vapor drive issues in cool roofing;
• energy efficiency and sustainability in codes and standards;
• methods for measuring energy savings on highly reflective coatings; and
• impact of dynamic insulation technologies on steep-slope roof assemblies.
