The CSC Hamilton-Niagara Chapter[1] is hosting a luncheon meeting and presentation on “Understanding Gypsum Fire Rated Assemblies” on Wednesday, January 16. The event will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion[2] in Burlington, Ont., from 12 to 2 p.m.

The fire-resistant properties of gypsum make it an ideal material for fire containment. The presentation by Chris Davidson will focus on the proper use and application of gypsum fire-rated partitions to achieve code compliance and conform to design criteria.
