The Canadian Wood Council (CWC) has developed an online resource, WoodFacts, to provide information regarding safety, code compliance, environmental impact, and economic benefits of building with wood products. The information is available to users in fact sheets, case studies, and relevant reports. Design/construction professionals and policy-makers are encouraged to use the tool when making decisions about five- or six-storey buildings employing wood as the main building material. The site will also keep users updated on any upcoming changes to the National Building Code of Canada (NBC). Visit woodfacts.cwc.ca.
