The Edmonton Chapter[1] of CSC is holding a breakfast meeting on February 15. Held at Chateau Louis Conference Centre[2], the event is expected to run from 7:30 to 10 a.m.

Rafael Lucero (Alberta Infrastructure[3]) will deliver a presentation on “New BIM Requirements at Alberta Infrastructure.” Lucero has 15 years of experience in the geographical information systems (GIS) industry, specializing in major infrastructure projects and transportation GIS, as well as providing geospatial enterprise solutions and web-based mapping to diverse clients.

The presentation is expected to touch upon Alberta Infrastructure’s (AI’s) BIM initiatives, things accomplished last year, and plans for 2018.  AI’s Digital Project Delivery and Handover Standards—due to be released on March 31—will also be discussed.
