On January 8, the Edmonton Chapter[1] of CSC begins the spring 2018 edition of the Principles of Construction Documentation (PCD) and Construction Contract Administration (CCA) courses.
Held at the office of DIALOG[2] from 6 to 9 p.m., the PCD program runs for 10 weeks.
This introductory course—a prerequisite to all CSC programs—can help designers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers gain a better understanding of construction documentation (i.e. specifications, drawings, and schedules), products, bidding procedures, and contracts. To register, click here[3].
Held at IBI Group[4]’s office, the CCA course runs for 11 weeks. The PCD program is a prerequisite to this course. Designed for contract administrators, property managers, architects, engineers, interior designers, specification consultants, building authorities, and bonding and insurance agencies, it is expected to provide information related to the administration and enforcement of contract requirements during a project’s construction phase.
