When this existing building was remodeled, translucent drop-out ceiling panels were installed beneath the existing fire sprinklers and strip lights. This avoided the need to install new light fixtures and to extend sprinklers to the new ceiling. In addition to reducing remodeling costs, the luminous ceiling and hidden sprinklers upgraded the appearance of the space below.
