On Wednesday April 18, CSC’s Montréal Chapter will host its third dinner-conference of 2018. The event, which will address the challenge of archeological remains onsite, will be held at the usual venue, namely Québec Tourism and Hotel Institute, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Speakers Gilles Prud’Homme (architect), Dominic Latour (engineer), and Philippe Beaudoin (engineer) will be discussing the architectural and engineering constraints linked to archeological remains onsite. A case study of the restoration of the archeological vestiges of Fort Ville-Marie and the William collector sewer in Montréal will be presented.

DCC Montréal creuse le sujet des vestiges archéologiques!
C’est mercredi le 18 avril prochain que la section de Montréal de DCC tiendra son troisième dîner-causerie de 2018 dont le sujet sera «Mise en valeur de vestiges archéologiques :
Projet Fort Ville-Marie et lien souterrain ». L’événement aura lieu dans son lieu habituel, soit l’Institut de tourisme et hôtellerie du Québec, de 18h à 20h.
Nos conférenciers Gilles Prud’Homme (architecte), Dominic Latour (ingénieur) et Philippe Beaudoin, (ingénieur) présenteront les contraintes architecturales et d’ingénierie liées à la mise en valeur d’un ouvrage civil majeur ainsi que des vestiges du Fort Ville-Marie ; le Collecteur William et les vestiges archéologiques du Fort Ville-Marie, premier établissement de colonisation à Montréal.
