The Winnipeg Chapter will be holding a fall session of the popular Principles of Construction Documentation (PCD) course. It will be taught at the Number TEN Architectural Group office from October 28 to November 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The classes, which serve as a prerequisite to CSC’s various certifications, emphasize the relationship between specifications and drawings, and the role of industry participants. The PCD course explores how contract documents and the project manual have an intrinsic relationship with each other, with standard pre-printed contract documents, and with associated documents. Its subject matter ranges from construction delivery methods and building science basics to legal issues and industry trends.
