The Vancouver Chapter of CSC is holding a Technical Representative (TR) course from January 19 to April 20, with registration now open.
The classes, open to those who have successfully completed their Principles of Construction Documentation (PCD) curriculum, are intended to offer a better understanding of contract documents and bidding procedures, product representation, professionalism, and ethics. The TR course provides a new depth of understanding and explanation of concepts beyond what was previously introduced in the PCD course. It is designed for the individual involved in the supply section of the construction industry such as manufacturer representatives, agents, or distributors of products.
The TR course costs $695 (plus GST) for CSC Members, and $795 (plus GST) for non-members. Register online[1]. For more information, contact Robert Jahnsen at robert@div7.ca[2].
In other CSC Vancouver news, the chapter is offering a learning luncheon on January 8, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Held at the Sandman Hotel, the construction law discussion will be led by Glen Boswall, a partner at Clark Wilson. For more on this event, visit http://vancouver.csc-dcc.ca[3].
