The Vancouver Chapter of CSC will be holding a winter session of the popular Principles of Construction Documentation (PCD) course.
The classes, which serve as a prerequisite to CSC’s various certifications, emphasize the relationship between specifications and drawings, and the role of the industry participants. The PCD course explores how contract documents and the project manual have an intrinsic relationship with each other, with standard pre-printed contract documents, and with associated documents. Its subject matter ranges from construction delivery methods and building science basics to legal issues and industry trends.
While the start date is still being confirmed, the PCD course will be held Monday evenings, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) offices, and will be led by Glenn Chatten. Cost is $695 for CSC members and $795 for non-members, GST included. Register online.
