Join the CSC Vancouver Chapter[1] for their lunch meeting and a presentation discussing themes in the construction environment. The event will take place at the Sandman Hotel[2] on Thursday, January 10. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by Chapter business from 12:15 to 12:30 p.m. and the guest speaker presentation from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.

Marina Pratchett QC, senior construction lawyer with Fasken Martineau DuMoulin[3], will address an emerging legal theme in the construction environment in Canada: ‘good faith and fair dealing’. She will talk about where people might find these obligations arising in contractual performance and to whom those obligations might be owed.
