The Vancouver Chapter[1] is holding a webinar on “Resilience for Existing Buildings in the Face of Climate Change” on Thursday, April 8, from 12 to 1 p.m. via Zoom or phone call.

Presented by Gord Rajewski, national practice leader, building science and sustainability, at Pinchin Ltd.[2], this session will provide background on the topic of resilient design. It will also explain why resiliency is not a stand-alone subject and why resiliency needs to be combined with energy performance and sustainability. Additionally, the presentation will discuss project elements that need to be understood as owners embark on a greater understanding of their existing building assets, from baseline creation through to retrofit completion.
