On Tuesday, September 12, the Toronto Chapter of CSC is hosting a dinner meeting where guest speaker Andrew Crosby (an associate at RJC Structural Practice) will focus on the use of glass as a structural material, rather than a finishing or building enclosure element. His talk aims to explore applications for glass floors, beams, bearing walls, point supports, shear walls, and roofs.
The event takes place at the Toronto Skating, Curling and Cricket Club, with cocktails getting underway at 5:15 p.m.
