On Wednesday, October 18, the Toronto Chapter of CSC[1] is hosting a daylong seminar on “The Evolution of Building” at St. Andrew’s Club & Conference Centre[2] in the city’s downtown.
Lyle Scott, P.Eng., LEED AP, managing principal at Footprint[3], will kick-start the conference with a presentation on the Ontario Building Code (OBC) SB-10 green standard. CSC past-president (and editorial advisor to Construction Canada) Keith Robinson, FCSC, RSW, LEED AP, associate of specifications at Dialog[4], will then speak about the newest iteration of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
In the afternoon, Steven Street, technical manager at Ontario WoodWork[5]s will present on “Growing Modern Wood Buildings.” Finally, Laverne Dalgleish, principal at Building Professionals[6] will talk about “Changes; the 2020 National Energy Code.” Click here[7] to download the schedule.
