On Wednesday, October 18, the Toronto Chapter of CSC is hosting a daylong seminar on “The Evolution of Building” at St. Andrew’s Club & Conference Centre in the city’s downtown.
Lyle Scott, P.Eng., LEED AP, managing principal at Footprint, will kick-start the conference with a presentation on the Ontario Building Code (OBC) SB-10 green standard. CSC past-president (and editorial advisor to Construction Canada) Keith Robinson, FCSC, RSW, LEED AP, associate of specifications at Dialog, will then speak about the newest iteration of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
In the afternoon, Steven Street, technical manager at Ontario WoodWorks will present on “Growing Modern Wood Buildings.” Finally, Laverne Dalgleish, principal at Building Professionals will talk about “Changes; the 2020 National Energy Code.” Click here to download the schedule.
