On Tuesday, November 14, the Edmonton Chapter of CSC[1] is organizing a breakfast meeting. Corbin Devlin from McLennan Ross[2] will talk about “Indemnity Provisions.” Held from 7:30 to 8 a.m. at Chateau Louis Conference Centre[3] in downtown Edmonton, the presentation will cut through the legalese of typical indemnity provisions and discuss what is reasonable and what to watch out for. On Thursday, November 23, the chapter is organizing a networking event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Metro Billiards[5] near Edmonton’s Ice District. This event is a great opportunity to meet CSC members and non-members outside the normal nine to five workday, and provides a casual forum for one to share ideas, discuss issues, and socialize with others in the construction industry.
