CSC Edmonton: From Mars expeditions to annual general meetings

by | April 28, 2015 10:50 am

A pair of events hosted by CSC Edmonton in May will allow its members to chart the future of the chapter, as well as the future of interplanetary travel.

On Wednesday, May 6, the group will hold its annual Infonet[1]—a special invite-only networking and trade show event. Sponsors (usually construction product vendors) display their literature on table-top displays, and converse with their invited attendees. The event, taking place from 12 to 9 p.m., at the Chateau Louis Hotel[2], will also include a dinner, along with a keynote speech by Bas Lansdorp[3], the Dutch co-founder/CEO of the Mars One expedition to establish a human colony on the Red Planet.

The following week, on Tuesday, May 12, the chapter returns to the Chateau Louis for its annual general meeting[4] for all members, running from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
