CSC Edmonton discusses hot-dip galvanizing

The Edmonton Chapter[1] will be presenting on “Designing for Hot-dip Galvanizing” on Tuesday, March 16, from 2 to 3 p.m. via Zoom.

Darcy Pretula, P.Eng., president at Daam Galvanizing[2], will be presenting at the event. In addition to exploring the benefits of utilizing hot-dip galvanized steel, the presentation will also examine ASTM specifications, design best practices, steel selection, distortion/warping, the Kirkendale Effect, inspection, and preparing the galvanized surface for painting or powder coating.
