The Calgary Chapter has a busy September, with a dinner meeting about ceramic tiles, grouts, and adhesives, followed by a course and a golf tournament.

On September 9, Montréal CSC member Pierre Hebert, manager of technical services at Mapei, will discuss International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) guidelines as part of the talk, which takes place at the Elks Lodge and Golf Club[1]. The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with networking, with dinner and the discussion to soon follow.

In other Calgary news, the chapter’s weekly Principals of Documentation (PCD) course begins Wednesday, September 16 to October 14, and Thursday, October 22 to December 3. Classes will be held at Stantec’s main office at 300 25th Street SE.

Finally, the chapter is hosting its golf tournament at the Lakeside Greens Golf Club in Chestermere[2] on Wednesday September 16. Hoping for a snow-free day, the shotgun start is at 8 a.m.—players and sponsors are encouraged to register as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
