The Calgary Chapter[1] is hosting its dinner meeting and a discussion on changes to the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings[2] (NECB). The event will be held at the Winston Golf and Country Club[3], on Tuesday, February 12, from 5 to 7:45 p.m.

Justin Pockar, MArch, SCO, LEED AP, co-ordinator of Plans Examination for Planning & Development at the City of Calgary will be presenting on “NECB 2017 Changes; Paving the way for Performance Based Codes?” It will cover the technical changes to the code, and point out the intrinsic inequalities in this standard and how it makes performance compliance one of the most attractive compliance paths.
