CSC Calgary talks radon

The Calgary Chapter[1] is organizing a dinner meeting on October 10. Karin Dumais (RadonWest) will present “Radon: Are Your Countertops Really Radioactive?” She will give a quick introduction to radon, break down myths about the gas, explain the basics of building science, and explore how to implement construction complying with the 2014 Alberta Building Code (ABC).

Held at The Winston Golf Club[2], the meeting will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Registration closes at noon, October 9. For more information, e-mail Adam Develter[3]. To register, click here[4].
