CSC Calgary hosts Connections Café

The Calgary Chapter is hosting its annual Connections Café at the Calgary Winston Golf Club on February 27 from 3 to 9 p.m.

Karen Ramstead is the keynote speaker. She is the first Canadian woman to complete the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. She has run ‘The Last Great Race on Earth’ 11 times, finishing in 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2012. According to Cruises to Alaska, the 1770-km (1100-mi) race pits men, women, and their dog teams against the wilderness, subzero temperatures, blizzard force winds, whiteout conditions, windchills of –100 C (–148 F), and other nasty surprises that Mother Nature can cook up in the dead of the Alaskan winter.

The tradeshow will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Building owners, architects, interior designers, technologists, engineers, and general contractors (GCs) are expected to attend the networking event.
