On Thursday, November 24, the Vancouver Island Chapter of CSC is hosting a luncheon with a special guest who will explore complete construction documentation and total asset viability through photos, videos, webcams, and unmanned aerial vehicles (i.e. drones).
The event kicks off at the Fireside Grill at 11:30 a.m., with Multivista’s Ryan Holmes reviewing what design/construction professionals need for project coverage, along with the specifications required for relevant photo documentation services and the best practices to obtain a return on investment (ROI) from all phases of construction and throughout the life of a building.
Holmes will also discuss drones and their ability to paint a more complete picture for construction projects. These tools offer a data-gathering platform that enables additional tools and resources for the entire construction team. He will cover some of the logistics of running a drone operation, with respect to training, documentation, hiring, and deliverables.
