The Government of Canada is investing in local manufacturers developing Canadian-led solutions to build more homes faster. The homebuilding and construction sectors are crucial to addressing the need for housing and increasing the number of homes available in southern Ontario.

These efforts will help the country address housing demands, build homes more efficiently, and ensure Canadians can access affordable housing. All these efforts are closely aligned with the goals of Canada’s Housing Plan, a historic plan to ensure all Canadians have access to housing.

Ruby Sahota, the minister of democratic institutions and minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, allocated nearly $19 million in investments to support 10 construction and homebuilding manufacturers: Assembly Corp., CABN, Diamond Manufacturing, Innovatools Inc., Inter Build Limited, MetaLigna Modular Inc., New Earth Solutions Inc., Northland Paving, Trusscore Inc., and UCEL Inc.
