Calgary Chapter presents on future-ready whole building retrofits

CSC Calgary[1] is holding a virtual chapter meeting on “Future Ready Whole Building Retrofits: Façade and Core” on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 8 a.m.

Scott Armstrong and Hannah Thevapalan (WSP Canada[2]) will be speaking at the event. In the session, case studies will be used to analyze the renewal ‘decision arc.’ It will highlight factors leading to and opportunities arising from large-scale building renewal, including various retrofit strategies and their impact on energy and carbon reductions. The session will also include information on the steps and processes used to move building renewal from an idea to implementation and will provide useful information to designers exploring opportunities in the building renewal market.
