This year, the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) will be celebrating its 10th anniversary by bringing its national conference and expo to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. From June 11 to 13, the country’s biggest gathering of sustainability-focused building professionals and decision-makers will attract more than 1000 attendees and over 100 exhibitors.

The event’s theme, “Beyond Buildings: The Green City,” emphasizes the implementation of sustainable design and operations on a grander scale than any one individual project. Topics include neighbourhood revitalization, affordable housing, and infrastructure development. Already-announced keynoters and speakers include:

In addition, a diverse stream of continuing education seminars is being offered, with subjects ranging from urban planning and the revitalization of aging buildings to green construction markets, products, and employment.

Until May 1, those registering to attend will receive early bird savings. Full delegate passes are $500 and $750 (plus HST) for CaGBC members and non-members, respectively. For more information, or to see the schedule at a glance, visit www.cagbc.org[1].
