All Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) events have now been cancelled until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, we felt it is prudent to inform you of the measures that we are putting into place as we remain vigilant about the spread and potential impact of COVID-19 coronavirus,” CSC said in a statement on its website.
“In order to do our part to help contain the pandemic and safeguard the health and safety of our members, guests, volunteers, and visitors, we have put an immediate moratorium on all CSC events until further notice,” CSC added.
CSC will provide updates on its website[1] as frequently as possible.
The CSC Conference 2020 that was scheduled for May 20 to 24 in Montréal has also been cancelled.
“This difficult decision was not made lightly, but was made keeping the health, safety, and wellbeing of you, our members, delegates, and sponsors in mind to minimize the risk to all,” CSC said.
More information and updates can be found on their FAQ[2] page.
